The Fine Line Between Self-Confidence & Cockiness.

IMG_5837.JPG

I want to talk about loving yourself & why it’s important. I think that there is a fine line between being cocky and being confident and we need to understand the difference.

I believe that is important to love yourself fully and to feel okay with doing so. If you take time for yourself & learn to love YOU then you can also love others fully.

As stated by “psychcentral.com” Cocky people do have confidence, but it comes from a different place than true self-assurance. Arrogance Is one result of building self-esteem from outward sources such as financial privilege or constant praise. However, yank the external support system away and the persons sense of self worth goes with it.

It’s important to understand that there is absolutely nothing wrong with being confident & knowing your self worth. Being confident is “liking” more so “loving” the person you have become. I think that the difference between confidence & cockiness directly transpires from your mindset. Rather than thinking you’re better than everyone else, understand that you are beautiful..as is  each other person in this world.  If you don’t compare yourself to others and you focus on what makes YOU different & what makes YOU beautiful & unique then you too can start to love yourself.

Remember, being unique is what makes you beautiful. You are not a copy of anyone else & are special. Learn to love the things that make you different rather than trying to change them to conform to societies definition of “beautiful”
