When you wake up every morning, what drives you? What is your purpose?
If you want to live a life enriched with love and happiness it begins with you, so find your purpose and find your WHY.
It’s important to take steps daily to move forward, it’s not always going to be an easy road but if you know your purpose, And what drives and inspires you then you WILL improve your life.
Your why will pull you up when you’ve been knocked down and it will keep you fighting when you’re tired. I heard something this morning from one of my favourite speakers saying “don’t look back you’re not going that way, and when you get knocked down.. get back up”
If we know our purpose it will be the reason you keep on fighting for your dreams.. when it hurts, keep going.. for if we push through those tough times they will only make us STRONGER. Stay focused and do NOT loose sight of that.
Be the very best. Sacrifice, get up early & fight back.. you are FAR from ordinary.
I Had a conversation with someone today in which we spoke about our goals and how to be successful..this person was adamant that hard work doesn’t ALWAYS pay off in the end. They told me that some people work themselves to the bone for years and it just never seems to pay off..
Its simple you guys, I responded by telling them that the reason it didn’t pay off was because they had no purpose, they continued to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results & they never saw success because they were comfortable consistently being average.
There are people in this world that work for years within a company but they never progress and they stay at the same level.. I genuinely cannot comprehend why anyone would want to settle and accept average. It’s so important to continue to grow in whatever field that you’re in and be the best at what you do! I understand not everyone has the same mentality as I do but why go through the motions and be like everyone else in this world?
Know WHY you do what you do & exactly what you want to achieve.. Don’t get stuck in the same routine leading to no where.
Making Time or Making Excuses?
I think we have all been in a situation where we have made plans with a friend and last minute they cancel on us or are running late because “something came up” perhaps you make plans yourself to do something but change your mind because you’re too “tired”etc. The more I think about this the deeper my conclusion becomes. I think that if it is important to you, you will always follow through.
If someone wanted to speak to you they will speak to you, simple. It takes 2 seconds to read a text message and it doesn’t take much longer to reply. If you’ve made plans to go out with someone and they continuously flake out, in my opinion, they just don’t see you as a priority. If someone is forever “busy” or “doesn’t have the time” that’s actually them telling you indirectly that your not important enough to share their time with you.
You may not realise you’re doing this but the next time you decide to make plans or arrange a phone call I think it’s important to remember this:
People make time for who and what is important to them. We show up for the people we care about. We remember to call someone if it is a priority & finally, We respect those who matter to us.
All of our time is valuable so make sure you Show Up, Call and have Respect.
